Bespoke Panel Solution for Storm-Damaged Building in Dublin

After Storm Bert damaged a building in Dublin, the customer required a bespoke panel on a short lead time. We delivered a Class I Anodised J57SUP panel within a few weeks, ensuring it met industry standards and weather resistance. Our swift response helped the customer restore the building with minimal disruption.

The Challenge

Following the severe impact of Storm Bert, a customer approached us in urgent need of a bespoke panel to replace a damaged section of their building in Dublin. With the weatherproofing of the building fabric compromised, time was of the essence and the customer required a high-quality solution on a short lead time, which had to meet strict building regulations.

Our Solution

Understanding the urgency of the project, our team worked efficiently to design and manufacture a fully bespoke panel tailored to the customer’s specific requirements. To ensure durability and weather resistance in harsh outdoor conditions, we used J57SUP material with a Class I anodised finish to meet both industry regulations.  

Class I anodising provides a high-performance anodic coating with a minimum thickness of 0.7 mil (18 microns), making it ideal for exterior building solutions that must withstand continuous outdoor exposure. This was a crucial factor in ensuring the replacement panel could endure the elements and maintain its appearance over time.
